What makes us human?
In scientific sense, humans are the animals, but we are just an evolved form of the animals. We have all the parts that the animals do, but with more developed form. For example, animals can make a sound, but that is not understandable language for us so it is not the idea of what we say "speak".
In cultural sense, animals just take care of their family, literally THEIR FAMILY - blood related or crossbred - only, others are all enemies. It is very different for people. People are warmhearted, we love our neighbours. Some part of the world, family means one whole tribe.
In general sense, humans are having their own opinion and thoughts which animals can't have one or maybe they have but not expressed. There is no specific evidence with that but that is what we pretend as.
In my sense, it is bit more complicated and detailed than what the definition in dictionary that forcing us to save in our brain. Human is not just an animal with 36.5℃ warmth and having individual thoughts. We are human because we have opinion, conscience, mercy, emotion, passion and expression of love. Humans have concept of "understanding", "forgiveness", "consideration", "concern" and "choice". Since, we have these things, we try not to make another person unhappy by our behaviours. When two animals meet, they fight, kill or even try to eat each other.

Weakness of Law in Less Economically Developed Countries
Before I start this essay, I really want to tell how badly the foreigners need the protection by the law in LEDC (Less Economically Developed Countries) which now does not have much of them.
This is based on my experiences in Malaysia throughout 3 years. Malaysia is a peaceful countries with the least crime than most South East Asian Countries (except for Singapore) according to what I heard before I came to Malaysia. However, in the middle of KL which is nearby KLCC, foreigners are frightened by many things.
One thing is the rapists. I was shocked because children in Malaysia, especially for girls, they are not really going out to meet their friends by themselves when the place is not around their house. In Korea, I always go to Seoul, which is taking me an hour (sometimes around 2 hours) from my house to meet my friends. We don’t afraid about going out by ourselves because we are old enough to do that. But Malaysian don’t. I was wondering why and they said the reason is there are so many rapists - people who commit rapes - around, so parents are not allowing them to do go out without the adults.
Even the local people are frightened.
The other thing is that there are quite a lot of men with bikes just crush the window and steal the stuffs inside. This very rarely happens in Korea. I never was worried about I having expensive things in my hand or outfits when I am in the car. No one really crush the window in the middle of the day. There are so many cameras on the highway or even the small roads.
Once, I experienced that a man was looking coming towards me and asking me if I want to follow him. I rejected of course. But he was trying to drag me to his bike and that time I just ran away. He was staring at me until I was gone out of his sight. That was nightmare.
Also, once I was sexually assaulted by the old man. He asked my name, school, nationality. That time, I was waiting for the bus and he was a taxi driver so I didn’t doubt him at first. In Korea, all the taxi drivers asking people something as I know them for a long time. This is just a strategy for them to have more customers or just interesting about all the different stories people have because they are bored. I didn’t answer, but my friend answered them, but telling lies. Then he asked me to sit next to him. Then he said he want to take pictures of me (of course, as naked). Fortunately bus arrived soon after that. Never actually happened, but still I was frightened.
Two last cases can be punished by the Korean and MEDC (More Economically Developed Countries) because I am a teenager. I told this to my Malaysia friend, she said “Why are you caring about small things like that. That isn’t a big deal.” I was shocked. I said that I want to bring a charge for these cases above, but she was just looking at me as I am a crazy person. Then she told me the police will not do anything for me by the Malaysian law.
By these case, the law in LEDC countries are very weak compare to MEDC countries law. Usually the law does not protect the foreigners by the sexual molestation when there is no direct touch. There are a lot of people have been foreigners and living in LEDC countries.
I researched about the Korean law and they said if it has happened in Korea, the men who did the sexually unhappy things to me are definitely having a sentence in jail. For the MEDC countries, they sentence the men or the victims of the case will get the money from the men for the mental treatment from the mental shock they had.
Sadly this is not the only case by the law that the foreigners unprotected. Also there are quite a lot of people in the LEDC countries actually had similar experience with me, but did not have any compensation. They have been frightened and post what actually happened in their blog or the online communities to warn the other tourists or migrators.
These can be stop if LEDC countries have more strong sentence for the sexual molestation and compensation for the victims. People who have not been these situation don’t know how scary it is, but as a victim, I honestly can’t really do other things and just too frightened to get out of it. Therefore, the law in LEDC should be improved!

Reliable evidences? -Different Point-of-view
How might each of people view each event or thing different? - A tree as seen by a biologist, a logger, an environmentalist, a native from Sarawak.
A biologists may think about the stems and cells of the trees and try to figure out what kind of experiments can be done with it and how can you use with the genetic engineering to deal with the cancer.
A logger may think how can he cut the trees in more effective ways and how many trees he need to cut off and what to use it for.
An environmentalist may think how can he/she can protect the environment with the trees and how to protect and conserve the trees.
A native from Sarawak may think of particular memories that has happened near that trees.
Major issues for discussion:
Defamation – harm done to a person’s reputation, and slander (spoken) versus libel (written)
Whether a statement is seen or heard by a third party or parties
Whether the identity of the target is clear
Anonymity – does it make the perpetrator more or less responsible?
Harassment – what does it involve?
Duty to provide a safe work or study environment – what roles do schools and teachers play?
Right to freedom of expression – what limits should be placed on it?
Right to security of person – should people be protected from written or verbal attacks?
Defences and confounding factors – what makes a possibly libellous statement okay?
Truth – when the statement is accurate
Fair comment - a legitimate journalistic intent
“The reasonable person” - how offensive does something have to be before it becomes libellous?

Death Penalty
Death Penalty
Death Penalty should not be abolished. It’s better to have it in the law, so it is legal for in case of emergency, but not actually doing it until very extreme cases like serial murderer.
Sometimes, the extreme cases of murder is increasing in number very quickly. Quite a lot of netizens (Network Citizens- people who are making comments or posting their opinions in the Internet) in South Korea, they totally agree with the death penalty. Many people were totally disagreed with the death penalty before Yu Young Chul has appeared, but after he has arrested, in sudden the crime rate has gone up very high so many of the people gone missing or dead. The most targeted people are children. So, by that, people demand the government to make the death penalty working.
Rarely, the criminal has a mental problem, but not be able to control. Some of them are psychopaths. They usually have medical treatment psychologically, but it is very difficult for general public to be unconcern about him/her to do the criminals. This is because as long as they are psychopaths, they have light sentences and sometimes even it is very difficult for police to deal with them. They are not having a mental problem actually, so they really are very clever. So if they escape, it will be very difficult to get them back to prison.
What if they release afterwards? There is a possibility for them to come out faster. They are clever, so how do you know they realised what they have done or just pretending for get out of prison. They never feel guilty at the first place, they even get extremely high pleasure by that. In my opinion, it is very difficult for them to stop the murder because even they know it is bad things but the pleasure that is once felt, never be forgotten. Then, there are very high risks of killing people again. Arresting them again? For example for Yu Young Chul, he did not have any evidences at all in the first place. That’s why the police couldn’t arrest him until he came to police and saying that he has killed about 30 people for third times. It is almost impossible to arrest them again if they release.
This can not be very understandable if you are not in South Korea right now, but in South Korea and my point-of-view everyday is a nightmare right now because the crime in the primary school are just everyday life now. It is very easy to find the many different articles each day about the rape, kidnapping or murdering children. This is not only for children, targets are even girls, boys, women, men and old people of every age. It is extreme recession, even worse than IMF situation, now. So the criminals are increasing very quickly.
Death Penalty should not be abolished for above reasons. Of course, the death penalty should be done for rarely extreme case, but not abolishing them as long as criminals are getting cleverer and crueler.
